How to use it

Fill the tank using the refill bottle, or add a little conditioner if the coat mats easily. Switch on, mist lightly, and brush in the direction of hair growth. A damp coat releases dead undercoat far more readily and throws off much less airborne fur. When the needles fill, hold the brush over a bin and press the release.

Empty the tank after each session and let the brush air-dry. Wipe the needle bed with a damp cloth. Don't submerge the handle.

Common questions

Is the mist hot? No. It converts water straight to a cool spray rather than heating it, so there is no burn risk — it damps the coat to stop static, nothing more.

Will it hurt my pet? The needle tips are capped with rubber. Use light pressure and let the brush do the work — you shouldn't need to drag it.

Can I use it on a matted coat? Ease mats apart by hand or with a dematting comb first. Pulling any slicker brush through a tight mat is uncomfortable for an animal.

Does it work on a thick double coat? It lifts loose undercoat well on most coats, but a very dense double coat may still need a dedicated undercoat rake alongside it.

How often should I groom? Two or three times a week through heavy shedding; once a week the rest of the year.
